Tristan

YEAR : 2007 AUDIENCE : 2-12

The show tells the story of Tristán. One day he felt so very sad that he decided to rip out his heart, so as to no longer suffer, and gave it to a passing bird. But things didn´t work out as he´d hoped. Tristán didn´t stop suffering, and even worse, never again did a smile appear on his lips, not even the smalest grin. And from that day on thay called him Tristán the dog-face. But the story doesn´t end there... From inside a misterious box appears a rag-doll determined to make him laugh. Will she be able to?
Tristan is a visual theatre piece for children from 3 to 12 years old. It is a comedy performed in a cartoon style, where the words are transformed into gestures. The characters speak in an invented language which is inmediately decifered by the audience, while lively music acompanies the dinamic rythm of the plot.

The themes of solitude, abandonment, and sadness are treated in a comical and ingenious
way so as to captivate and raise questions even in the youngest spectators.
