THE ANTIQUARARY FAMILY is a satirical comedy that fuses physical theater, dance and objects.
The text by the Italian playwright Carlo Goldoni (1707-1793) tells the story of Count Anselmo, who leads his family to ruin due to his exaggerated interest in acquiring and collecting antiques.
The show maintains the popular characteristics of Commedia dell’Arte, but presents a reflection on traditional family models and proposes a contemporary revision from the gender perspective of the original classic text.
